The Los Angeles Lakers have two more games on the team’s Grammys road trip, the first of which is a Thursday night matchup against the Indiana Pacers, who hold the same 24-28 record as the Lake Show.

The Lakers and Pacers have ties this season with the rumored Russell Westbrook for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner trade that fell through before the season. Add in the fact that the Pacers stunned the Lakers earlier this season with a massive late comeback that finished in a game-winning three at the buzzer and there is a lot of anticipation for this matchup.

Both teams have notable inclusions on the injury report that could change the entire dynamic of this game. Indiana’s best player, Tyrese Haliburton, hasn’t played in three weeks. Here is everything you need to know about Haliburton and the rest of this matchup.

Tyrese Haliburton injury status tonight vs Lakers:

As mentioned, Haliburton has been out of action since January 11 (elbow, knee) and has been listed as questionable for this game. While he has not been confirmed as active, head coach Rick Carlisle had a promising update for the young point guard.

Haliburton scored 24 points with 14 assists and seven rebounds the last time these two teams squared off in November.

There is only one other player on the Pacers with an injury designation against the Lakers. Center Daniel Theis (knee) has been listed as questionable. Theis has not played all season but was a full participant in practice earlier this week.

Full Lakers injury report vs Pacers:

Several notable Lakers players are on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s matchup but it should not be anything of concern for Lakers fans.

Austin Reaves has not played in several weeks and is still listed as out (hamstring). The young guard is scheduled to be re-evaluated on Thursday but will not play against the Pacers. Patrick Beverley (knee) has been listed as probable after missing Tuesday’s game against the New York Knicks.

LeBron James (foot) has been listed as day-to-day but it is the same lingering foot soreness that has been bothering him for weeks. Unless stated otherwise, LeBron will play. If he sits, it will likely be for load management (or so he can line it up so he breaks the scoring record next week against the Milwaukee Bucks).

Anthony Davis (foot) is also on the injury report and has been listed as probable. Los Angeles is simply being careful with overloading AD as he returned from a five-week hiatus.
