The Los Angeles Lakers currently lead the Golden State Warriors 3-2 in the Western Conference semi-finals. Los Angeles had the chance to end the series on Wednesday night in Golden State but were unable to do so and suffered a big injury in the process.

Anthony Davis was elbowed in the head and had to be removed from the game. There was initial concern that AD suffered a concussion and had to be wheelchaired out of the building but luckily, positive updates (and a video of AD walking out on his own) helped quell the storm.

After the game, LeBron James commented on previous comments from Steve Kerr in which he blamed the Lakers’ “gamesmanship” for getting so many fouls called in Game 4. LeBron reiterated that the Lakers are not a flopping team — as Kerr suggested — and he has never been on a flopping team in his career.

That caused Warriors’ role player JaMychal Green to chime in. Green didn’t say any words but with just one emoji on a reposted photo of LeBron’s quote he said all that he needed to say.

JaMychal Green takes a hypocritical shot at LeBron James

For those who do not know, the hat emoji placed on LeBron James’ head is meant to say that his comments are “cap”, meaning that they are not true. Essentially, Green is calling LeBron a liar without actually saying the word liar.

This is painfully ironic coming from Green, who plays on a Warriors team that has thrown quite a few questionable shots at the Lakers in this series. Kevon Looney’s wild elbow that injured Anthony Davis was completely unnecessary and that is not the only instance of this happening. Earlier in this series, Draymond Green “incidentally” drove a knee into AD on the ground.

Keep in mind, this is the same team who saw Draymond get suspended in the first round of the playoffs for literally stomping on Damontas Sabonis, so there is a foundation of interesting plays in place.

Plus, the Warriors are prone to exaggerating and getting calls themselves. This is the same team that submitted foul calls to the league after Game 1 to complain. But the Lakers are the team with gamesmanship, right?

But hey, Green isn’t the first player in this postseason run to poke at LeBron James. Ask Dillon Brooks how that worked out. Heck, ask several of the Lakers’ previous playoff victims how it worked out.
