The Los Angeles Lakers schedule for the 2023-24 season has officially been released so we can finally run through all 82 games and predict just how well this stacked roster will do in the regular season.

Of course, there are a lot of variables to consider that could change the course of the season. But if the Lakers stay mostly healthy, it is easy to predict when the team will take nights off and when it will emphasize performance.

With that being said, let’s dive into the schedule and predict the outcome of all 82 games.

Predicting the outcome of every game on the Lakers schedule:

October 24 at Denver Nuggets: WIN

Call us crazy but the Lakers are going to be entering this game with months of pent-up energy, especially after Michael Malone went and ran his mouth about LeBron James and the team. All roads go through Nikola Jokic and Denver and LA will send a message on Opening Night.

October 26 vs Phoenix Suns: LOSS

Beating the two other premium contenders in the Western Conference to start the season would be great. However, a split is far more likely as Phoenix’s lack of depth won’t be as prominent early on while the team is fresh.

October 29 at Sacramento Kings: WIN

The Kings were a feel-good story last season and they should be solid again. The Lakers, however, have too much size for the Kings to keep up with.

October 30, 2023: vs Orlando Magic: WIN

Orlando has a lot of young talent with Paolo Banchero leading the way. If this was a mid-January game then Orlando would have a better chance. Not while the Lakers are fresh.

Record after October: 3-1
