Lakers schedule predictions, April:

April 2 at Toronto Raptors: WIN

At this point in the year, it won’t be surprising if Toronto has shut down and is preparing for the 2024 NBA Draft. For that reason, the Lakers get the win.

April 3 at Washington Wizards: WIN

The Wizards will definitely be shut down and preparing for the 2024 NBA Draft at this point. The Lakers win a game with LeBron not playing.

April 6 vs Cleveland Cavaliers: WIN

LeBron is back in the starting lineup to split the season series against the Cavaliers in what could be dubbed as an NBA Finals preview when this game is played.

April 7 vs Minnesota Timberwolves: LOSS

Los Angeles is pretty safe as far as the playoffs are concerned so the team is more cautious with playing its best players. Minnesota, who will be battling for playoff position, gets the win.

April 9 vs Golden State Warriors: WIN

After resting against Minnesota, the stars return for the Lakers to send one last message to the Warriors before the NBA Playoffs.

April 12 at Memphis Grizzlies: WIN

The Lakers end the season on a two-game road trip and will win the first game of that road trip, also sending a message to Memphis before the playoffs.

April 14 at New Orleans Pelicans: LOSS

The Lakers take this game off to get ready for the NBA Playoffs. The Pelicans, who should have something to play for, will get the victory against LA’s B squad.

Final Lakers record prediction: 56-26

The Lakers would have finished atop the Western Conference and would have had the third-best regular-season record last season at 56-26. This would be the first time the Lakers won 55 or more games since the 2010-11 season.
