Note: We’ll be grading the players on how well they contributed to the tank.
MVP: There is no question that Wesley Johnson was the MVP tonight. He scored a team-low six points and shot 2 for 12 from the field. He also attempted two triples, but missed both times. Johnson was committed to the tank and should be commended for his efforts.
LVP: Jeremy Lin continues to play his basketball of the season, which is why he is the least valuable player tonight. He finished with 18 points on 6 of 15 shooting and also contributed with seven rebounds and five assists. I really wish you would have played like this before the trade deadline.
Stat of the Night: 4 for 17. The Lakers were not very good from beyond the arc. They only shot 23.5% and it looks like Wayne Ellington has cooled off. Lin was the only Laker who made more than one triple tonight. In a game where the Lakers were leading for a big part of the game, they were terrible from three point land.
