The Los Angeles Lakers All-Time team in NBA 2K18 has officially been revealed and the roster is loaded with talent.

Los Angeles Lakers, and NBA fans, in general, received some awesome news about NBA 2K earlier this month. Recently, it was announced that NBA 2K18 would have an All-Time team for every franchise in the league. It was something that fans got very excited about.

How many times have fans debated about which players are the best to have played for a franchise? Or how a player from one era would perform against someone from another? This year’s NBA 2K would give players an opportunity to settle some of those debates, at least in the virtual world.

NBA 2K gave some hints in recent days of who would be on the teams. The Lakers were one of the teams to have part of their roster revealed. The first reveal gave a glimpse into just how many great players have suited up for the Lakers.

In that reveal, a little less than half of the roster was shown. It was a dominant group revealed, as arguably the three of the most unstoppable players of All-Time, Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain were shown.

In addition to those behemoths another dominant big man, in his own right, Pau Gasol, was revealed. The backcourt was not too shabby either, as Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant were shown, along with James Worthy.

Those seven already make for a dominant team, but it went to another level with the full reveal. 2K released the full roster for the Lakers All-Time team, and it is absolutely loaded.

Joining those Hall of Famers and future Hall of Famers are more all-time greats. The Lakers have arguably the greatest backcourt ever with Jerry West joining the squad along with Johnson and Bryant. The depth the Lakers all-time team has is absolutely ridiculous.

Rounding out the roster is Elgin Baylor, George Mikan, Gail Goodrich, Jamaal Wilkes, Bryon Scott, Michael Cooper and Derek Fisher. Some of those players didn’t come close to sniffing the Lakers all-time starting lineup but would be shoe-ins for other franchises.

While the Lakers do not have a player that is a 99 overall like some other franchises, no other franchise comes close to matching the Lakers depth. The 11 players with an overall of 90 or higher are by far the most in the NBA, giving the Lakers a strong case as the best All-Time team in NBA 2K18.
