Lopez hasn’t been as productive offensively as the Lakers had hoped, averaging 13.2 points and making only 29.5 percent of his 3-point attempts. However, he is providing rim protection, averaging 1.67 blocks per game.
Both teams are looking to get back into the playoff picture in their respective conferences and could use a win. The Lakers are three games out of a playoff spot, while the Hornets are four.
