The Los Angeles Lakers had a good night on Tuesday at the STAPLES Center, defeating the Phoenix Suns.

The Los Angeles Lakers picked up some momentum on their five-game road trip. They went 3-2 on the trip and returned home on Tuesday for the first time since January 23rd. The Lakers hosted the Phoenix Suns at the STAPLES Center on Tuesday and carried that momentum to their home court.

The Lakers defeated the Suns 112-93 on Tuesday night. It was the fourth and final game of the season between the two teams. The Lakers won the season series 3-1, splitting the games in Los Angeles and sweeping the Suns out of Phoenix.

The Suns shot 38.3 percent on the evening and 27.6 percent from behind the 3-point line. Phoenix was also a putrid 56.5 percent from the foul line. After scoring 57 points in the first half, the Lakers defense tightened up and held the Suns to 36 points in the second half.
