The Los Angeles Lakers host the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, March 5th, at the STAPLES Center. Here is all the information you need to watch or listen to the game!
The Los Angeles Lakers are finally returning home. The Lakers head back to Los Angeles tonight for only the second time since the All-Star break. They will be hosting the Portland Trail Blazers, but this is a different team than the Blazers faced the first two times this season.
The Trail Blazers have won the first two meetings of the season between the teams. Both games were decided by three points, as the Lakers were close before a last-second shot or free throws from Portland.
In the first meeting, it was Damian Lillard putting the Lakers away. He scored 32 points in the game, including the game-winning 3-pointer with one second remaining. In the second matchup, it was Moe Harkless, who made the game-winning shot with 21 seconds left and iced it with a free throw.
The Lakers will be looking to exact some revenge and come into this game rolling. Los Angeles is riding a five-game winning streak, as they are undefeated since the All-Star break. The last two of those victories came on the road against playoff contending teams in the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

Tonight, the Lakers will look to run that winning streak to six games and three in a row against contending teams. However, it will not be easy as the Lakers are a little banged up.
Last week on the road trip the Lakers lost two integral players to their success. Shooting guard Josh Hart fractured a bone in his left hand in practice. Brandon Ingram suffered a strained hip flexor against the Heat. Both will be out tonight and for at least a few days; Ingram is likely to return before Hart.
With those two sidelined, the Lakers will need some players to step up. Lonzo Ball, Isaiah Thomas, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Tyler Ennis will have to shoulder more of the load. With will have their hands full with one of the most dynamic backcourts in the NBA in Lillard and C.J. McCollum.
Will the Lakers be able to slow down those two dynamic scorers to extend their winning streak? Or will they help the Blazers continue their own winning streak, which is at six games?
We will have to watch and see! Here is all the information that you need to watch or listen to the game tonight between the Lakers and Trail Blazers!
