– Average 20 points per game

One of the lofty goals set for Brandon Ingram last season was to reach the 20 points per game plateau. Considering that Ingram averaged under 10 points per game as a rookie, that would have been a massive increase.

Even though Ingram didn’t average 20 points per game last season, he did take a big leap forward in his scoring average. Ingram was able to average 16.1 points per game for the Lakers last season, and he was one of the top scorers on the team throughout the season.

In the month of February, the Lakers were playing some of the best basketball of the season and Ingram was playing at a very high level. In that month, Ingram was averaging 18.6 points per game, which was the most he averaged in one month last season.

At just 21-years-old, Ingram is still growing a player and the future is very bright. With the addition of James, Ingram might be the player that will benefit the most from what James can bring.

Now that he has another season under his belt, Ingram might be able to not only improve, but become more consistent, which can help him average 20 points per game next season.
