Los Angeles Lakers vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Game 29 preview, tv information
The two best teams in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks face off tonight and we have all the information you need to enjoy the game!
The Los Angeles Lakers have been pacing the Western Conference throughout the 2019-20 season. With a record of 24-4, they have built a 3.5 lead over the LA Clippers. Before Tuesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, the Clippers were the only team to defeat the Lakers in a road game this season.
While the Lakers have been dominating the Western Conference, the Eastern Conference has had a juggernaut of their own in the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks have an identical 24-4 record. Someone will have a fifth loss added to their record tonight, as the two teams with the best record in the NBA will face off for the first time this season.
While many people have been looking forward to the Lakers and Clippers facing off again on Christmas Day, this game, between the Lakers and Bucks, should be highly anticipated as well. The only thing that will mar this game is injuries.
Both teams come into the game a little short-handed. Milwaukee will be without starting point guard, Eric Bledsoe, who is dealing with a right fibula evulsion fracture and is sidelined for two weeks.
Los Angeles will likely be without Kyle Kuzma and possible Anthony Davis, who missed the game against the Pacers. Davis is hoping to play against the Bucks, but if the team is not confident that he is 100 percent ready to go, they will likely hold him out again.
While fans will be disappointed if Davis, one of the brightest stars in the league, doesn’t play, they will still have some star power to watch on the court. The matchup between MVP’s LeBron James and Giannis Antetokoukmpo is worth the price of admission alone.
Neither the Bucks or Lakers have lost back-to-back games this season. One team will suffer that fate Thursday night, as both teams enter the game coming off a loss that snapped a lengthy winning streak.
The Lakers had won 14-straight road games and seven games overall while the Bucks had won 18 straight games. Who will avoid their first losing streak of the season? You will have to tune in to find out, and we have all the information you need to enjoy the game!
