Lake Show Life wants to see Dwight Howard succeed and don’t want him to lose his career doing something that is perceived as selfish!

Look, Lake Show Life poked a little fun at Lou Williams for his situation and it will be a source of trash talk between Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers fans for the postseason. But it does serve a reminder of why all of these rules and regulations matter.

Most won’t go beyond the optics and comedy of an NBA player being unable to stop himself from leaving the bubble to go to a strip club after a couple of weeks. Sports talk shows will be drooling to add this to their discussions all week until Thursday.

If the NBA investigation keeps Williams out of the Los Angeles Lakers game on Thursday, the drama will be attached to Lou Williams for the rest of the season.

Lake Show Life doesn’t want Dwight Howard to face this type of drama. The site vouched for him as far back as his signing. We understand his importance to the team.

For the most part of this season, he seemed to heed the advice of the last article on this list. He has been better than advertised with being a good teammate and his production has been off the charts.

But when Howard tries to push his beliefs that masks aren’t important, or not believing in vaccines, he has to realize that it carries weight. It sends the message to many that these kind of rules aren’t that important. At a time when COVID-19 is affecting millions of people around the world along with people totally ignoring the pleas of experts to wear masks makes this behavior worse.

Karl-Anthony Towns lost his mother to the virus three months ago, and numerous other players have either tested positive or know people who have battled the virus. Two members on the roster caught COVID-19. Talk to them. Educate yourself.

Lake Show Life extends a plea to Dwight Howard. Lou Williams may have bailed you out of a public relations nightmare that was coming your way. Do yourself, your teammates, the NBA and it fans a favor.

Shut up and put on the mask. Please!
