1. Goran Dragic fits on the Los Angeles Lakers like a glove

Half of the question for free-agent signings is how talented the incoming free agent is. The other half of the question is how good of a fit that player is on the team. Dragic is still a very talented basketball player and is a perfect fit on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dragic has already shown the willingness to come off the bench when needed and was still fantastic for the Heat this season. In the regular season, he averaged 16.2 points, 5.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 28.2 minutes per game off the bench.

The Lakers are likely going to need that secondary ball-handler to play alongside LeBron James. Both Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley have player options after this season and both may no longer be on the Lakers in 2021.

Dragic fits that billing perfectly. He is someone who can dictate the offense when LeBron is not on the floor and could create a dangerous partnership with Anthony Davis. Dragic is really good in the pick and roll and that combo with AD would be deadly.

He is also capable of succeeding with LeBron on the court as well, which has been the biggest drawback for someone such as Rondo. Dragic can not only operate as a traditional point guard, but he is also a great off-ball scorer that becomes yet another threat from beyond the arc for the Lakers.

He is not a great defender but under Frank Vogel in the defensive schemes he draws up he will be just fine. This is more than Dragic still being a really good basketball player, he is a really good fit as well.
