#2: Jamal Crawford

Another veteran free agent that the Los Angeles Lakers should consider adding to the roster is Jamal Crawford. Crawford is one of the best bench players in NBA history. Throughout his career, he has totaled three 6th Man of the Year awards. Along with this, he has some of the best handles that the game has ever seen.

Despite being 40 years old at the time the bubble started this season, Crawford showed that he still had what it took to be on an NBA roster during his short time with the Brooklyn Nets. He only played five minutes, however, he still scored five points. Along with this, he shot 50% from both the field and the three-point line.

Crawford would likely not see much time on the court similar to his role while he was on the Nets. However, it is still clear that he is a walking bucket. If the Lakers are having trouble putting the ball in the basket while their bench unit is on the floor, Crawford would be a very clear solution to the problem.

Due to his age, he has lost some of his athleticism that made him capable of effortlessly getting around defenders. Along with this, he would be a liability for the Lakers on the defensive side of the ball.

Although he would likely be a situational player for the Lakers, he has the capability of making a huge difference in a game that matters with his scoring ability.
