Los Angeles Lakers Rumors: The rosters for NBA 2K18 have leaked and Lakers fans will probably not be thrilled with their player ratings.

Los Angeles Lakers rumors have picked back up in recent days. There are some fans with their eyes already turned towards free agency in 2018, where the Lakers have been rumored as a landing spot for LeBron James. There have also been rumors about the Lakers potentially filling their last roster spot heading into training camp.

The latest Lakers rumors, however, take part in the virtual world. Many basketball fans enjoy the NBA 2K series. This year’s game, NBA 2K18, has a lot of new additions that will freshen the game up and get fans excited. One addition that had fans buzzing earlier this month was the All-Time teams for each franchise.

It was announced that every team will have an All-Time roster in this year’s game. That is in addition to the historical teams that have already been a part of the game and are expanding this year. The Lakers All-Time team is absolutely loaded, and arguably the best team any franchise has.

More from Lakers Rumors

Throughout the summer, we have seen some of the player ratings revealed by NBA 2K. A number of Lakers have had their ratings released. Their first round picks, No. 2 overall Lonzo Ball, No. 27 overall Kyle Kuzma and No. 30 overall Josh Hart, all had their overall ratings released. Jordan Clarkson had his released and was none too pleased about the rating he received.

Now, we may know what every player on the Lakers is rated. YouTube user STG posted a video titled, ‘NBA 2k18 OFFICIAL RATINGS! Every Single Player Rating In The Game ft. NEW Legends!’

While it is titled official ratings, NBA 2K has not released all of the ratings yet so this should be taken with a grain of salt. However, the player ratings do appear to be accurate based on what player ratings have been released.

Here is the video, with the Lakers roster beginning at the 3:28 mark.

As you can see in the video, Brook Lopez is the highest rated player on the Lakers this season. That is not shocking, as Lopez has been near the top-10 centers in the NBA in years past. The rest of the Lakers roster is made up of younger players looking to make their mark in the NBA and gain their footing.

Lopez is one of only two players to receive an 80 overall or higher; the other is Ball, who was tied for the highest rookie rating with Markelle Fultz. Free agent signing, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, is the third best player on the team with a 79.

Here is the full list of the Lakers roster and rankings for the team.

These ratings may disappoint some Lakers fans, as they are one of the lower rated teams in this year’s game. That could change as the season goes on, though, as player ratings are updated weekly throughout the NBA season.
